The integration of Bosch ITS cameras provides real-time triggers when a vehicle travelling in the wrong direction is detected. Engineered to fit any ramp configuration, the systems flash warning alerts which can be LED-enhanced BlinkerSigns, beacons or LegendViz internally-illuminated signs.

If the driver continues down the ramp, a second layer of alert communications is triggered to inform TMCs, DoTs or law enforcement agencies via Tapco’s smart city software platform BlinkLink.

Each Wrong-Way Alert System is also equipped with Haas Alert technology to further optimise roadway safety by delivering warning messages to right-way drivers in the vicinity of the potential wrong-way driver via in-vehicle navigation.
