Traffic Technology's (TT’s) iSight-iD cycle count information display has counted more than 5,155,904 cycles since August 2013, and more 1,000,000 cycles since January 2017, at Goldsmiths Row in the London Borough of Hackney. Daimler subsidiary EvoBus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Rhein Neckar Verkehr GmbH (RNV) which will allow electric city buses from Mercedes-Benz to be deployed to the public for a trial in the metropolitan region. The first vehicles are scheduled for delivery at the end of 2018.

French Highway company and tag issuer Vinci Autoroutes has placed extension orders for Q-Free tags valued 25 MNOK. The additional volumes follow a frame agreement made in December 2016. Håkon Volldal, chief executive officer of Q-Free, said: “These extension orders confirm the high technical performance of Q-Free’s tags and our ability to supply significant volumes on short notice. Moia, the mobility startup from Volkswagen Group, has introduced a fully electric six-seated car as part of its ride pooling concept that plans to replace 1 million cars and reduce congestion on major cities in Europe and the USA by 2025. California’s Office of Administrative Law has issued a notice of approval of regulatory changes to adopt the ISO 18000-63 (6C) electronic toll collection (ETC) protocol on all roads throughout the state, from January 2019. E.on clients in Sweden who purchase a Uniti electric car (EC) will be provided with five years’ worth of charging through solar cells at home, as part of a new partnership between the two companies that aims to create a sustainable source of energy for charging.
