Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project includes rail and monorail solutions for busy road routes

BYD (Build Your Dreams) has been chosen by transport authority TransMilenio to provide 379 electric buses to the Colombian capital Bogotá.

BYD (Build Your Dreams) is operating 285 electric buses in an electric bus corridor in the Chilean capital Santiago.

Swedish bus operator Nobina has ordered 20 additional electric buses from BYD, bringing its total electric fleet to 138 vehicles. BYD is to build its SkyRail autonomous monorail in Brazil to connect Salvador’s central business district with São João Island. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $411,578 in Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) grants to Hawaii to help curb pollution from diesel vehicle sources. The EPA’s West Coast Collaborative administers the DERA programme. BYD will deliver seven 12 metre electric buses to public transport operator Egged in Jerusalem, Israel.
