The TraffiPole, awarded with the Intertraffic Green Globe Award in 2022, was further developed and is showcased as the new Twin-Head version. It is a sustainable housing solution, which does not need air conditioning even in countries with hot climates. At the stand, visitors can experience the new version, with which traffic can be monitored over multiple lanes bi-directionally. To create specific solutions to customers’ needs, the system and capabilities can vary and be equipped with different functionalities.
Next to red-light and speeding, moving vehicle offences are a major problem, especially at larger junctions. Jenoptik developed various solutions to detect illegal driving maneuvers, such as wrong lane usage and illegal turns, all present at the stand.
A growing concern is distracted driving. Drivers use their phones, and some do not even wear a seatbelt. With advanced sensor technologies, Jenoptik will present its system to detect those violations. Another problem cities want to address are noise disturbances caused by loud cars.
