Developed by a team with over 30 years’ experience in the road safety industry, the Manta Barrier is the result of a precise design brief and painstaking computer modelling with the aim of developing the only barrier of its type that can be used as was designed, tested and certified. An improvement on previous designs, the Manta Barrier stands out since, unlike similar designs, there is no requirement for additional costly and cumbersome steel reinforcing bars.

Constructed from hot-dip galvanized steel, the Manta Barrier is built to withstand tough conditions, providing reliable protection in various environments. With a length of 1.5 metres, each barrier strikes a balance between coverage and manoeuvrability. They can accommodate various fence and hoarding heights making them suitable for construction sites and congested urban areas.

Through rigorous testing, the Manta Barrier has earned Class A wind tunnel test certification, validating its ability to endure adverse weather conditions.  The barrier’s resilience against impact forces is also assured through compliance with BS EN ISO 14361(2009) testing. This testing protocol ensures that the barrier can withstand significant forces, maintaining its structural integrity and effectiveness in safeguarding construction sites and roadways.

Furthermore, comprehensive crash testing to T2 W7 levels underscores the barrier's ability to withstand high-velocity impacts, making it a reliable solution for enhancing safety in various settings.

As MJK Manufacturing expands its presence across Europe, it looks forward to meeting delegates and potential distributor partners here at Intertraffic.
