MRL Mini Mac: big performance for small work zones

“The Mini Mac and our line of Mini products offer road marking crews a faster and safer alternative to the dangerous and physically tiring job of applying road markings,” says Boyd Montgomery, director of sales for MRL.

Utilising a simple operator control console, which is available in multiple languages, the self-propelled Mini Mac enables operators to quickly apply thermoplastic detail markings. The 181 kg capacity material tank and 45 kg capacity bead tank are easily accessible for refilling and maintenance.

“The compact and self-propelled design of the Mini Mac means it’s easily manoeuvrable in congested areas like intersections” said Montgomery. “When you're thinking about safety, equipment that keeps boots off the ground and minimises workers exposure to live traffic is key.”

For more than 40 years, MRL has been the industry-leader in road marking and removal trucks and equipment from their production facility and headquarters in Billings, MT, USA. The company has an exclusive partnership with Trysil RMM, a Norway-based road marking equipment manufacturer, to bring the Mini Mac to Europe. Additionally, MRL brought Trysil’s thermoplastic printer technology to the United States market. The two companies are co-exhibiting in the Tyrsil RMM stand where they are highlighting the Mini Mac and other thermoplastic equipment.
