Ouster will demonstrating how the firm’s digital lidar’s 3D spatial awareness and 24/7 performance combines the high-resolution imagery of cameras with the all-weather reliability of radar.
The result, says the company, is a solution that captures the environment with millimetre-level accuracy and detects vehicles, vulnerable road users and even specific traffic incidents before they happen. Earlier this year, Ouster lidar was deployed in Europe’s largest lidar project for digital twin and V2X research as well as in the US in Chattanooga’s Smart Corridor and pedestrian safety project - winning the 2021 IDC Government Insights’ Smart Cities Award.
