The company has introduced direct-view LED displays said to create a seamless, common operating picture that provides critical information to operators via an efficient display which is essential for making real-time decisions. Content can be zoned, take in unlimited camera feeds, maps, news, weather, DOT data feeds and more and the display can be any size with every detail visible from any angle in any lighting.

“Efficient decision making is about timing,” says Jason Morison, ITS, parking & public transport market manager at Daktronics (pictured). “We are proud to provide the capabilities of direct-view LED, especially to create greater efficiencies in command centres which ultimately leads to safer roads.”

To ensure quality and longevity, the company conducts end-to-end testing on components including measuring light output and colour properties to check direct-view LED displays perform from any vantage point in any light.

“With images and information on direct-view displays always visible regardless of ambient lighting the team can see what they need for real-time decision making,” Morison concludes.
