The contract, for toll road concessionaire 2084 BrisConnections, involves the installation of a fully electronic multi-lane free-flow tolling system on the Airport Link, a four-lane tunnel leading from Brisbane’s central buiness district to the Airport.
Kapsch TrafficCom will design, construct and install this end-to-end system consisting of roadside infrastructure, back office systems and associated services. Construction of the combined road and bus way solution has now commenced, with the overall project scheduled for completion early in 2012.
