IBTTA and the TRB Committee on Managed Lanes (ACP 35) are running a webinar next week for transport professionals who are currently operating managed lanes or planning to do so.

Managed Lanes and HOV Enforcement Practices and Technologies will cover pilot projects - including traditional camera-based systems and app-based HOV declaration technologies - and their results and findings.

A variety of automated vehicle occupancy detection solutions are being trialled in an attempt to reduce high violation rates, improve enforcement and assist with issuing citations.

Presenters will cover topics such as best practices in deploying technologies, performance and reporting requirements, procurement, and the sort of organisational and policy changes which are needed.

Managed Lanes and HOV Enforcement Practices and Technologies is on 12 Nov at 11am ET.
