Australia’s Northern Territories Government has launched a six-month trial of autonomous vehicles in Darwin, which will see a driverless vehicle carrying passengers along the city’s waterfront.
The trial of the EasyMile EZ10 driverless vehicle will commence early in 2017, transporting passengers Waterfront precinct to Stokes Hill Wharf on a repeat loop.
The fully autonomous vehicle provides zero emissions when operating, is fully air-conditioned and capable of carrying up to 12 passengers at one time.
