Laser Technology arrives in Amsterdam sporting an all-new LTI 20/20 TruCam II hand-held laser-based speed enforcement system with photo and video capability for enforcement of approaching and departing vehicles at speeds up to 320km/h. A key enhancement is the use of a bespoke camera featuring ‘point and shoot’ imaging with auto focus, iris and shutter speed selection.

American Traffic Solutions (ATS) has joined forces with laser-based speed and distance measurement company Laser Technology Inc (LTI) to develop and launch ATS StreetSafe. The handheld device is designed with the intention of protecting communities from the dangers of speeding as well as enhance enforcement.

Laser Technology (LTI) has released an updated LaserSoft SpeedCapture App for Android operating systems.

Laser Technology is exhibiting its latest TruCapture and TruSense systems on its booth. TruCapture uses expanding optics to create an elongated laser beam with an optimum detection range of between 66 and 164ft (20 and 50m) and speed measurements are accurate within 3mph (5km/h) in traffic management mode and 1mph (1.6km/h) in enforcement mode.

The innovative LTI TruSense traffic sensors from Laser Technology Australia are now proving their worth at a test site in Melbourne. Five of the dual traffic laser systems have been installed on a gantry over the M80 Ring Road in Melbourne, scanning the vehicle flow in each lane.
