London’s Heathrow airport is to trial a fleet of electric vehicles, including the Nissan LEAF, Peugeot iOn, Vauxhall Ampera and the Renault Kangoo ZE, to test the viability of electric power-trains used in the highly demanding context of daily airport operations.
