Conduent to deliver fare collection system to Rotterdam
Conduent Transportation will deliver 1,700 smartcard ticket validators to Dutch transport company RET in Spring 2019. The technology will be used by commuters on buses and trams in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

In a separate contract, Conduent implemented the fare collection system for state agency Carreteras de Cuota’s tourist train which runs from Puebla City to the Cholula district.
Conduent Transportation is to install a fare collection system in the Flanders region of Belgium which will enable contactless bank card payments and account-based ticketing.
Conduent will also operate the system for ten years on behalf of Flemish transport company De Lijn.

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) in Denver, Colorado, has entered into an agreement which will allow its riders to view transit routes within Uber’s app.
RTD says the collaboration will allow commuters to plan their travel with additional first/last mile options.
Riders can select the app’s ‘Transit’ option to see available routes, real-time schedules and walking directions to and from stations.
Looking ahead, the partnership intends to allow riders to purchase RTD tickets via the app,
Conduent is extending its contactless card payment system to Line 3 of on Puebla’s Red Urbana de Transporte Articulado (RUTA) bus rapid transit system in Mexico. The upgrade is being carried out over the summer and will replace all free-standing ticket machines.
Conduent’s system will allow riders to tap their phone or Puebla contactless card at validators.
The solution will also replace inspector terminals, validators and access control gates.
