Those wanting to catch up on the latest laser technology should drop by the Noptel booth where the company is highlighting its Speeder X1 and CMP52 laser radars.
Speeder X1 is designed for vehicle speed measurement and has two integrated narrow angle laser transmitters allowing measurement of two consecutive overlapping speed profiles from the vehicle. Analysis of the profiles provides the speed, length and height of the vehicle as well as the time and distance to the vehicle in front.

Jukka Pahkala of Noptel displays the laser radars
Those wanting to catch up on the latest laser technology should drop by the 98 Noptel booth where the company is highlighting its Speeder X1 and CMP52 laser radars.
With its high speed processor and large memory capacity the CMP52 single beam radar is well suited to the traffic control and law enforcement applications including vehicle detection, licence plate recognition camera triggering and speed measurement. It offers sample rates up to 5kHz and measures natural surface objects at up to 50m and reflective surfaces at up to 380m.
Finnish company Noptel Oy will be at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2016 to highlight its Speeder X1 and CMP52 laser distance measurement sensors dedicated for traffic control and law enforcement applications. Speeder X1 laser radar exploits a dual laser transmitter providing overlapping vehicle profile analysis for precise vehicle speed measurement as well as for vehicle height and length determination.
