On 22 October 2012 the European Commission is organising its 3rd Conference on Intelligent Transport in Europe within the framework of the 19th ITS World Congress at Messe Wien, Room Stolz 1&2 and foyer Stolz. The main objective of the conference is to provide and discuss results of the ITS Action Plan and to present the status of the implementation of the ITS Directive 2010/40/EU. Additionally, the presentations will address legal issues for ITS deployment as well as European multimodal journey planners.

It helps visitors navigate through the city and the congress centre, and it integrates the conference programme, transportation schedules and tickets. All this comes together on the smartphone - now available for the iPhone, Android and as a mobile web application.

Austrian company PDTS will highlight its Wallbox PC 310/320, an intelligent, network- and customer-friendly electric vehicle (EV) charging system for the private and semi-public sector. Using type 1 and 2 e-mobility connectors to ensure broad charge compatibility, the configuration of the PC 310/320 is standard IEC 61851-1 compliant with Mode 3 charging, enabling safe and convenient charging of electric vehicles at speeds much faster than conventional electrical outlets.
