Dresden Elektronik Verkehrstechnik shows deZign product

Among a range of products that Dresden Elektronik Verkehrstechnik will showcase at Intertraffic Amsterdam will deZign, based on innovative e-paper technology and which has been upgraded with new functions to make the e-paper device even more attractive for the user.

Germany company Dresden Elektronik is showcasing its deZign electronic timetabling technology for the first time here at Intertraffic. Using flexible plastic displays from Plastic Logic, the monochrome deZign display allows traditional paper timetables to be replaced at the push of a button. The solution is robust, daylight-readable and low power – fixed content requires no power, while text changes require only minimal energy.

The seventh Intertraffic Innovation Award for the most innovative exhibit will be presented during the opening ceremony of Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 on 25 March. An international jury has selected a shortlist of nominees from 60 entries and awards will be presented in each of five categories: infrastructure, ITS traffic management, safety, parking and smart mobility. One of five winners will then be chosen as the overall winner of the Intertraffic Innovation Award. Companies shortlisted for the award
