Tritium has signed a deal with Box Energi to be the sole supplier for Drive Energi, a nationwide electric vehicle (EV) charging network in the UK. Automobile components company Tata AutoComp Systems has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to supply Tritium’s chargers for electric vehicles (EVs) in India. NKM Mobilitas will install 12 of Tritium’s Veefil-RT 50kW DC fast chargers along main traffic routes in Hungary. Tritium will use $400,000 in US funding to develop a cheaper version of its Veefil-PK ultra-fast charger for electric vehicles (EVs). The fund is part of the Electric Power Research Institute's (EPRI) $3.2m package, issued by the US Department of Energy (DoE), to develop a fast charging system which will connect to the grid. Tritium has delivered 12 high-power chargers (HPCs) to Germany to provide electric vehicles (EVs) with 350 kW of power and a 150km range in five minutes. These HPCs have been implemented at Tank & Rest stops at Brohltal Ost and West, either side of the A61 highway. The deployment is part of a project led by joint venture Ionity to establish a pan-European network of 400 HPC stations so drivers will be able to find a station within 120km.

Australian technology company Tritium has appointed three PR consultancies and a brand development agency to increase global penetration of the electric vehicle fast-charging market. The PR consultancies include California-based Thinkshift Communications, EMG in the Netherlands and Sydney's Watterson.
