Custom is showing the latest evolution of its PP54 ticket printer and reader. The PP54 has been on the market for around three years, but the company’s policy of regular updates to its equipment has seen the printer undergo recent modifications.
The new PP54 EVO features improvements as a result of customer feedback, including the device’s internal belts being made from stronger material and the cutters separating individual tickets being upgraded.
“This improvement cycle is typical of our products,” said Peter Söderlund, Custom’s business development manager. The latest version, which is designed to operate primarily in standalone mode, with no attendants, is designed to operate in extremes of temperatures. The PP54 EVO was launched at the end of last year but is having its first major showing at Intertraffic.
