Eunomia Traffic is a fully automated in-car system that provides significant assistance to the police and improves traffic safety. When installed in police cars, it records all traffic events in 360°-mode and detects speed in motion, providing accurate and instant capability with police databases. Recorded offences are immediately catalogued in a register to facilitate searches both at the scene of the event and at post-processing.
In addition to searching for data on a specific vehicle, Eunomia Traffic provides simultaneous speed control in front of and behind the patrol car, as well as for vehicles approaching or moving away from the patrol car. The video is synchronised with the data of the built-in speed radars.
All these actions are automatically combined with the detection of the licence plate of the particular vehicle and the acquisition of data about the vehicle.
Another innovation is synchronisation of the system with all the other equipment of the patrol car – cameras, database, traffic register and more.
