Green Center, a Czech parking solutions provider, recently put its ticketing systems to a different use, at the Prague Botanical Gardens. The gardens needed more cashiers to sell entry tickets so Green Center supplied six payment kiosks where visitors can easily purchase the entry tickets without waiting in a long queue in front of a sales booth.
In this case the client has chosen to use their own superior application that contains user GUI, graphical user interface. This application is accessing Green Center’s API - application programming interface - that communicates with individual peripherals installed in the kiosks. The project is to be launched this spring.
Green Center also has developed two other modes of operation for the payment kiosks, one of them connected with payment of parking fees – more about this can be heard at the company’s stand.
