Testimonials from initial C-V2X deployers in the US

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that nearly 32,000 people have died in traffic crashes so far in 2022. Visitors to the ITS America event will be able to hear from the automakers, road infrastructure-owner operators and technology providers that are leading the way for C-V2X deployments in the US. A panel of initial deployers will share their insight for creating C-V2X systems that can immediately enhance safety, including Day 1 applications such as red-light violation warnings and intersection movement assist.

Panellists will also share their vision for solutions that can protect vulnerable road users, including innovative solutions for communicating directly with road infrastructure as well as safety services that can increase awareness for pedestrians, cyclists and other micro-mobility users. Join moderator Jim Misener, senior director of product management and V2X ecosystem lead for Qualcomm Technologies, as he drives discussion around the opportunities and challenges with C-V2X deployments. Visitors are invited to pose questions and learn more about deploying this lifesaving technology.

Testimonials from initial C-V2X deployers in the US will take place on Tuesday, 25 April, from 15:15 – 16:15 in the Education Theater (Expo Hall).
