“There has been a lot of positive feedback from DOTs and municipalities about this highly effective and seamless product, which uses high security cylinders,” said Hamill. He explained the lock is a hybrid solution that can be a drop-in replacement for existing or modern traffic control cabinets and allows either mechanical or electromechanical cylinders to be used in the same system.
“Our customers are very happy there are multiple versions to meet their needs. It’s available as a bolt and slam latch, with left or right mounts and dust covers, and either mechanical or the electromechanical Cliq.”
Hamill said the ease of use and easy maintenance are the driving factors winning over customers, in addition to the tried-and-true benefits of the Cliq technology.
“When using the Cliq key, a time stamped record is stored in the key and a copy saved to the lock. When the key is updated, any access rights changes are applied to the key and an audit trail is uploaded to the servers so the administrator can see which keys are accessing which locks with time and date stamps.”
