Demand for the event, which takes place from 29-31 August 2023, has arisen in part from the greatest infrastructure spend in Australia since the Second World War.
ITS Australia says international ITS firms have their eyes on planned developments in roads and tunnels, with future tolling and ITS contracts up for grabs, particularly in the eastern states of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
The organisation adds that it has had ‘positive conversations’ about widening the reach of Summit 2023 with a number of international delegates at ITS World Congress in Los Angeles.
Among other things, ITS Australia has been showcasing its members’ participation in the Australian Integrated Multimodal EcoSystem, focused on connected vehicles, at the Congress.
