The AI Traffic Camera collects traffic data including vehicle type, traffic flow and weather conditions. This involves spatial information including queue length, number of queuing vehicles and average speed. AI Safe Crossing builds an LDM (local dynamic map) layer 4 using short-term object information. It ensures protection of pedestrians by way of collision prediction, pinpointing potential accidents. It provides warning signs, three seconds before, through in-ground devices such as light or voice alerts. For that third level of protection, AI Traffic Signal Control ensures reinforcement learning based optimal control using traffic data from AI Traffic Camera. There is also isolated intersection and arterial traffic control as well as traffic network control.
