Valerann keeps challenging the transportation industry status quo and, following a successful deployment on AP-53 roadway in Spain, has announced that the use of its advanced AI solution Lanternn by Valerann now extends road monitoring coverage to 100% and detects 89% more road incidents.
These levels provide road operators with granular understanding of real-time road traffic situations, enabling a higher degree of accuracy in decision making, helping to improve KPIs and raising the bar in road traffic management.
Valerann’s new-generation ATMS, that can be deployed atop of any system, in this case was integrated with Geomic – a road asset management platform by Openvia, a technology arm of global roadway operator Globalvia.
Exploiting the synergy between the companies’ flagship products, Geomic-Lanternn enabled better resources planning, faster response time and improved road safety. Valerann has announced that the new disruptive joint solution will be further deployed on Globalvia’s international concessions and will be available for global deployments with other road operators.
Indeed, Fernando Vallejo, innovation and systems irector of Globalvia and managing director of Openvia, described the result of the collaboration as “a game changer for the ITS industry”.
