French companies NAVYA and Keolis, in partnership with the city of Las Vegas, have launched an autonomous, fully electric shuttle trial the city’s new Innovation District. During the week-long pilot, the public will be invited to take free test rides of the driverless ARMA shuttle, which was developed by NAVYA in partnership with Keolis. It carries up to a dozen passengers and was designed for use by state and local governments and transit agencies and operators as an efficient, clean-energy alternative

In breaking news from the ITS World Congress, HMI Technologies announced that New Zealand's first autonomous bus will soon be operating at Christchurch airport. Following meetings at Intertraffic in Amsterdam and consequent conversations with engineers, HMI decided to purchase the vehicle from French manufacturer NAVYA. According to HMI’s Dean Zabrieszach, the announcement has already generated plenty of interest.

French autonomous vehicle manufacturer Navya is to partner with transport operator Keolis, supported by Lyon Metropole, in a pilot which will see driverless minibuses on the streets of Lyon.

Navya is promoting its new Arma driverless, autonomous electric vehicle, which it launched last October. The shuttle vehicle, which can carry up to 15 passengers at speeds up to 45km/h, is now operating at the French nuclear power station at Civaux, transporting employees around the site.
