LeasePlan (LP) has announced the launch of its electric vehicle (EV) pilot program for corporate companies as part of its ambition to achieve net zero emissions from its total fleet by 2030, at this year’s UN Climate Change Conference in Bronn, Germany. The project aims to make it as easy as possible for companies that want to make the switch to low- EVs and it will be available in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and the UK from December.

Louis Berger (LB) has won a 2018 Engineering Excellence Honour Award by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Maine for its work on the Adaptive Signal Control (ASC) technology system project in Warwick, Rhode Island. Condeunt’s Seamless app has been made available to bus users in the Valence area and can be downloaded to their Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled smartphones to pay for travel on all 147 Valence Romans Déplacements (VRD)-operated buses. The system can be installed by both transportation operators and users and is compatible with all mobile phone operators. It will be available for use with Bluetooth-enabled Apple iPhones in January 2018.
