The US Department of Transportation (USDoT) is rolling out $25 billion in funding for public transit services, which have been hit hard by Covid-19.

The US Department of Transportation (USDoT)’s Federal Transit Administration has awarded more than $20 million to 25 projects under the Integrated Mobility Innovation (IMI) programme.

The green light from OmniAir confirms RSUs meet operational standards set by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers and specifications from the US Department of Transportation (USDoT). The company says each unit enables Vehicle to Infrastructure communication when implemented with corresponding in-vehicle on-board units (OBUs).
