Fugro Roadware has won a two-year, US$3 million, contract from the US SHRP 2 (Strategic Highway Research Programme 2), for the collection of roadway data at highway speed, using ARAN’s (Automatic Road Analysers) on selected roads, within the six SHRP 2 naturalistic driving study sites.

(IRD) has been awarded a US$1.345 million contract to provide a high speed weigh-in-motion (WIM) and verification system for a new commercial vehicle enforcement facility (CVEF) in Solano County, California. This system will be used by local enforcement personnel for selecting and directing commercial vehicles into the CVEF and by Caltrans for traffic planning purposes.

UK-headquartered Clearview Traffic Group has announced the proposed merger of its Count On Us traffic survey and market research arm with Sky High, which will also see Clearview taking a significant equity stake in Sky High, with representation on the board of the merged company.
