Sensys Gatso Group has received a contract valued at US$749,000 (EUR 685 thousand) from its Belgian partner Engie Fabricom. The contract, valid for three years, is for traffic safety systems to be installed in the Brussels Capital Region. Deliveries are planned to commence with one third of the contract value in the first half of 2017 and are expected to be complete before the end of 2019.

Cohort business and road technology specialist SEA has been awarded a further contract by the City of Cardiff Council to help the Welsh capital to reduce the congestion impact of traffic growth. The Supervisory Board of Jenoptik has appointed Dr Stefan Traeger as future chairman of the company’s Executive Board for a term of three years. Traeger, currently a member of the Management Board of the Swiss Tecan Group, will succeed Dr Michael Mertin and is expected to take over his post in the second quarter of 2017. Traeger will manage the Jenoptik Group together with Hans-Dieter Schumacher, who has been chief financial officer of Jenoptik since April 2015.
