EU public transport use at highest level since 2000

Independent tests have shown that Image Sensing Systems’ Autoscope Ex-122 automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) camera and CitySync LPR engine exceed the new UK National ANPR Standards for Policing (NASP) performance requirements. Manchester orbital route to become ‘smart motorway’

Four companies, Balfour Beatty, together with Costain, Carillion and a BAM Nuttall Morgan Sindall joint venture, have been awarded the contract to upgrade a 17 mile stretch of the M60 and M62 to a ‘smart motorway’.
