The wait for traffic analysis is over, thanks to swissSCOUT AI, a data protection compliant mobile camera system for multimodal traffic counting in real-time using artificial intelligence. It counts up to 10 vehicle classes as well as cyclists and pedestrians. It also analyses the traffic flow in intersections and roundabouts with an autonomy of up to seven days and real-time data on dynamic dashboards.

Haenni scales the heights
Swiss company Haenni Instruments is highlighting the WL 108 XL portable wheel load scale. Its active surface of 1395 x 393 mm is big enough to accommodate the wheels of vehicles of any size, with any axle configuration. Despite its huge weighing area, the device weighs only 28.5 kg and is equipped with rechargeable batteries that power it for at least 120 hours before it needs to be recharged.

Stuer-Egghe has launched the Jumini, a new kind of truck mounted attenuator (TMA). The device has been developed exclusively for local and city roads with a maximum speed of 50km/h. It offers protection for workers in the event of a crash. According to the company, the main benefit of the Jumini is that it is designed to be mounted on a light commercial vehicle, providing versatility and cost savings for contractors.

France-headquartered Alyce, an expert in mobility data collection, is featuring Observer real-time smart monitoring for traffic and air quality data. It provides reliable data to analyse traffic flow for all transports modes, to better understand travel behaviours, to assess new mobility policies and to evaluate air pollution causes. The company says the Observer smartbox is versatile and can be used for permanent and real-time data collection or for one-shot traffic surveys.
